News Update (10 March 2026): As the 2026 Full Moon Party event calendar has scheduled activities falling on major Buddhist holy days (Wan Phra Yai), this has caused confusion among a large number of tourists and business operators. Therefore, the Haad Rin Village Committee and the Haad Rin Business Operators' Association Committee held an urgent meeting to ensure that activities are conducted appropriately, to avoid confusion, and to demonstrate that Thai Buddhists give importance to significant Buddhist religious observances (major Buddhist holy days).
It was resolved that the Full Moon Party event calendar will be amended so that any events falling on a significant Buddhist religious day (Wan Phra Yai) will be postponed to the day following that Buddhist holy day, as per the attached calendar.
